The programme must consist of five delivery components that should be tailored to meet individual needs.
The components are:
- Diagnostic, monitoring and guidance
- English, maths & digital
- Experience of the workplace
- Technical knowledge and skills
- Pastoral Support, Personal Development & Enrichment
The national technical outcomes have been developed with close reference to the relevant T Level outline content and its structure to identify knowledge, skills and behaviours, appropriate to level 2 for each sector.
To provide a minimum level of consistency for learners, a study programme is expected to cover all the national technical outcomes for the T Level Transition Programme, relevant to their chosen T Level route. These include a small number of outcomes, each with underpinning knowledge, skills and behaviours, which we expect learners to be able to demonstrate by the end of the programme.
ÍõÖÐÍõ×ÊÁÏ´óÈ«’ Employability Skills (5546) suite is a flexible qualification with a wide range of unit topics, which can be put together to make up a qualification that prepares your learners for progression to the T Level of their choice. The certificate requires a minimum of 15 credits to be selected from the 66 units available at level 1 or the 25 units available at level 2, below are two examples.
The full range of units can be found in our Employability Skills Qualification Handbook; you can access this on our dedicated webpage under centre documents.
